About us

Stogursey & District Victory Village Hall is a prominent landmark on the outskirts of Stogursey village, nestling at the foothills of the Quantocks. It  is a contemporary, community meeting place for Stogursey and surrounding villages.

The Hall has first class facilities and is the home of a number of local community groups. It is available to hire during the week and also at weekends. The Hall can cater for sports activities and has changing rooms and showers. There are outside areas for tennis, multisport area, football field and boules pitch.

History

Our new village Hall was built in 2020 on the site of the old Victory Hall of which the only part remains is the Quantock building. The Hall was built with the aid of grants, help from Stogursey District Parish Council and Sponsorship from local business enterprises.

The Hall is a charity and is run by a committee of Trustees. We welcome volunteers to help with both the running of the hall and organising village events. Are you interested in volunteering or becoming a Trustee?
